What we collect and why

WhatsApp, email and phone. When you contact us, we receive what you send: usually your name, phone number or email address, and your message. We use it only to reply and, if you become a client, to deliver our services. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

Our contact form. If you choose WhatsApp, the form turns what you type into a WhatsApp message, and nothing is sent until you press send in WhatsApp. If you choose email, what you type (your name, email address, business name, the service you picked and your message) is sent to our inbox through our web host's email server, together with your connection's IP address, which we use to block spam. We use it only to reply to you and, if you become a client, keep it as part of our business records.

WhatsApp. Messages sent to us on WhatsApp are handled by WhatsApp (part of Meta) under its own privacy policy.

Website analytics. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read and how people found us, so we can improve the site. It stores cookies on your device and records information such as your approximate location, device and browser. We use it only for these statistics: we look at totals and trends, not at individual people, and it isn't linked to any advertising. Google signals and data sharing with Google are switched off, Google processes the data for us under its data processing terms, and the detailed visit data is deleted after two months.

Turning analytics off. You can switch Google Analytics off in this browser at any time, free, with the button below. We remember your choice in your browser's storage, so it stays off on later visits, and we delete the Google Analytics cookies already set. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as a no as well.

Fonts. The fonts on our website are hosted on our own server, so loading a page doesn't send anything to a font service.

Embedded content. Our contact page can show a Google Maps map, and the motion graphics videos on our portfolio page come from YouTube. Neither loads until you ask for it: the map when you click "Show map", and the videos when you click play. Once loaded, these services may set their own cookies.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run our business: our web and email hosting provider, WhatsApp, and Google (Analytics, Maps and YouTube). Some of these may process data outside the UK under their own safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries only for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows, and client records for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting purposes.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict it.
